All cosmic events influence the physiology. If one is
to live life in proper alignment with all these influences, one
must utilize the full organizing power of Natural Law to live
life spontaneously in tune with all the Laws of Nature. The Maharishi
Vedic ObservatoryTM promotes
health through the alignment of the individual physiology with
the physiology of the universe. The measuring instruments of
the Maharishi Vedic Observatory are structured exactly on the
basis of how Consciousness displays itself in the galactic universe
in parallel with the physiology.
Simply by observing the instruments, which in their form reflect
the orderly movements of the starry world, one gains balance.
This balancing is said to occur because the structuring dynamics
of the physiology, the solar system, and the universe are the
same. These structuring dynamics are present in the reflection
of the movement of the heavens expressed in the yantras1 of the Maharishi Vedic Observatory.
From Maharishi Vedic ScienceSM
we understand that each yantra affects a different area of the
physiology. All the measurements displayed and created by the
yantras of the Vedic Observatory regulate the functioning of
the physiology automatically. By observing the display of these
structuring dynamics, one's physiology and awareness is said
to come into balance with the rhythms and cycles of Natural Law.
By viewing the Maharishi Vedic Observatory, the inner intelligence
of the body is spontaneously brought more into alliance with
the cosmic structure of the universe. This alignment effortlessly
brings the functioning of one's intelligence into accord with
the evolutionary impulse of Natural Law. One's individual life
naturally gains the evolving quality present throughout the universe.
Through this alignment, the benefit of the Laws of Nature comes
to be lived in one's life, the physiology gains balance, and
life begins to be lived in accord with all the Laws of Nature.
Life is brought spontaneously in the direction of greater balance
and happiness.
When using the Maharishi Vedic Observatory, what is important
is the actual perception, not the intellectualization. Using
the Vedic Observatory brings the universe into our room and then
aligns the inner with the outer. By becoming accustomed to the
movement of the stars, we awaken within us the memory of the
Constitution of the Universe.2The
memory of the starry world is patterned deep in the DNA. The
laws that structure the physiology of the universe also structure
the physiology of DNA and of the body. This memory enlivens the
physiology to function more in accordance with Natural Law. The
result of this memory is greater balance in the physiology and
a more profound basis for perfect health in life.

Verifying the Balancing and Nourishing Influence
of the Maharishi Vedic Observatory through the Maharishi Pulse
DiagnosisSM Program
The Maharishi Vedic Observatory provides an experience
that directly affects the physiology of the observer. These effects
have been preliminarily studied using the Maharishi Pulse Diagnosis
Program, which allows one to observe imbalances in the physiology
before they become disease. Through this system, it is also possible
to observe how the physiology reacts to various stimuli.
Modern Western medical science has recently confirmed ancient
Ayurvedic knowledge that one's perceptions affect one's physiology.
Every experience stimulates the production of neurotransmitter
chemicals by the nervous system. Very different neurotransmitters
result from the perception of positive as opposed to negative
experiences. These neurotransmitters have a profound influence
in the body.
A number of subjects were studied by taking their pulse while
the Maharishi Vedic Observatory was not in view; then the subjects
were shown the display of the Observatory and the changes in
their pulse were observed. In every case, a profound strengthening
in the area of the pulse known as the Sadhaka subdivision of
Pitta was perceived.
In the Maharishi Ayur-VedaSM
program, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha1
are the primary doshas or constituents of the physiology. Pitta
represents the element of metabolism that assimilates nourishment
into the body. There is one Pitta found in the Pachaka subdivision
or subdosha that metabolizes food. Sadhaka Pitta, located in
the heart and the brain, digests the results of our perceptions.
By observing changes in Sadhaka Pitta through the Maharishi Pulse
Diagnosis program, one can monitor the effect an experience has
on the physiology. When the subjects of pulse diagnosis were
innocently viewing the Maharishi Vedic Observatory, an immediate,
profound, and consistent strengthening in Sadhaka Pitta was found,
indicating a balancing and nourishing influence throughout the
body.
Not everyone who observes the Maharishi Vedic Observatory
is aware of the effect, since it takes place on a very subtle
and basic level of the physiology. But the preliminary indicators
are striking: simply by looking at the Maharishi Vedic Observatory,
the body swings to regain balance of the doshas.
1 The
three doshas are basic governing agents or controllers of the
physiology. Vata represents bodily functions concerned with movement,
Pitta represents bodily functions concerned with heat and metabolism,
and Kapha represents bodily functions concerned with structure
and fluid balance. When these doshas are in balance, health is
optimal.
